The hotel Confortel Pío XII of Madrid, an establishment belonging to the Business Enterprise ONCE (CEOSA), has renewed the AENOR Certificate of Global Accessibility, obtained for the first time in 2007 according to the UNE 170001 standard of Global Accessibility.
In 2005 this establishment received the Certificate as a Registered Company concerning the high standard of the Quality Control Systems, according to the standard ISO 9001 of AENOR, and in 2007 it became the first tourist establishment to receive the certificate of Universal Accessibility.
AENOR reviews all certified establishments every three years in order to ensure that the plans presented with the certification have been applied.
In the case of Confortel Pío XII, the supervising entity made a special mention to the high degree of compromise and professionalism of all of the personnel of the hotel insofar as complying with the prerequisites and criteria of the accessibility related to the correct treatment and customer service to the customers with any special needs.
It also gave a positive grade to the level of control and maintenance of the general installations of the hotel having to do with the accessibility to the establishment and as well as the visual integration of the adapted environments with the rest of the elements of the hotel.
