• The hotel chain owned by the ONCE Corporate now has ten hotels with this distinction

The Confortel Agua 3 and Aqua 4 hotels that are part of the ONCE Corporation’s (CEOSA) Confortel Hoteles hotel chain have received the Universal Accessibility Certificate from the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR), according to UNE standard 170001-2:2007. In earning these two new distinctions, the hotel chain owned by the ONCE Corporation now has ten hotels with this recognition.

In addition to these two hotels in Valencia, the company also has another eight hotels with this accessibility certification; Confortel Suites Madrid, Confortel Barcelona, Confortel Auditori, Confortel Almirante, Confortel Bel Art and Confortel Puerta de Triana, which earned their certification in 2009. Confortel Alcalá Norte received its certification one year earlier. Going further back in time, in 2007 the Confortel Pio XII Hotel was the very first Spanish tourism establishment to gain the Universal Accessibility certificate from AENOR.

Confortel Hoteles strives for excellence with regard to accessibility, and its aim is for all of its establishments to receive this AENOR certification. Aenor’s Universal Access Certification guarantees the same possibilities of accessing and taking advantage of the services provided by the hotel to all guests, regardless of whether they are physically challenged or not.

Confortel Hoteles is a pioneer in the promotion of accessible tourism and it plans to continue incorporating technological innovations into its installations in this regard. Currently, all of its hotels have rooms that are fully adapted for physically challenged guests, which are designed with the same aesthetic criteria as the rest of the facilities for this chain.

The Confortel Aqua 3 and Confortel Aqua 4 hotels have 184 and 135 rooms respectively. They display an elegant, avant-garde design that blends in with the style of the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias de Valencia, which stands just opposite these two hotels.
